I bought a 2000 American dream motor coach. My...

I bought a 2000 American dream motor coach. My question pertains to satellite or vpn. When I scan for Wi-Fi it shows I have it and a great signal but no internet connection. Can anyone tell me what I’m missing. I try to go in and set up vpn for this wifi network which I know is on my RV because it’s net work is everywhere I go, but I have no password. Any suggestions or can anyone fill me in on what I’m missing

Questions on the american eagle model

Im not sure how this got tied in with me but I did not do a bad review. I have never had a problem with American Coach and love the coach that I have. They are a great company to work with and will answer any and all questions that you may have. Im trying to reach them on a question about the water I can put in during the winter.

Awnings will not come out

I have 2021 American coach Tradition. one awning extended out and will not retract. Bad weather is coming I need to retract. Also awning #2 will not extend.

Locked in coach

There is a problem with Tri mark cook mechinism that locks you in coach. It is not just AMERICAN Coaches. Tri Mark does nothing to correct this problem. I have turned it into Rev group and the NHTSB. NOhelp from either. This is a safety issue and until someone is injured or killed the NHTSB doesn’t get involved. Rev group sells you another latch/lock that has same problem Ridiculous

No problems at all with my 2001 just got back from a 4800 mile trip

The small things I have had I fixed my self and there has been very few. My American Eagle 2001 will freeze you out on the hottest days.I just run my cab air 85 % of the time unless someone is in the back asleep.

Warranty

Have had issues with American and Freightliner deciding who's problem it is and not backing up their promises. We had 8 items that needed to be repaired on warranty, but could not get to lazy days before my warranty ran out. I called American warranty service and was assured that as long as the items were fixed within the next 6-8 months they would be covered as long as I listed them with American before my warranty ran out. It is now 7 months later and guess what, Larry Rodgers the manager has refused to honor their commitment. I feel like I am dealing with a used car lot. He should understand that to keep customers purchasing 400,000 plus coaches should not have to deal with issues like this. I will suck it up on this one, but it will be the last American ,Monaco,etc coach I or any of my friends purchase. For the record, Lazy Days has been terrific fixing issues with my 2017 American Dream Coach.

Yes - when you get everything that is listed on the sales brochure - but they can (according to their small print) change anything they want..... even if it is shown as a standard feature..... interesting that they only substituted the cheap mattress on my coach... NOT the model year, NOT the model.... just my one coach..... feels like a rip-off to me !

I bought a brand new American it has been in shop three times and there right now. i have no complaints about the service i'm getting from the dealer they very accomadating.

We are having issue with black holding tank within a day it registers full and turns red and no longer will flush. I think its a sensor issue and we have taken it back three times now I need to know what the problem could be? Also the Aqua hot does not stay hot a short shower drains the hot water this is also the second time we are addressing this issue. All the minor issues have been addressed and fixed. The dealer has been great this is my fourth coach and Holland RV has by far been the best dealership with the best service. I love the coach it drive by far better then any of my other coach's I'm sure after we work thru these issues we will many year of great RVing.

i too have an American coach 2017 revolution, having the same exact problems you are having and mine is there now 12/2018 4th time and they say it works fine. it never gets fixed, Holland RV also, nice people but not getting fixed. I am not happy about the problem.

MY COACH STAYS IN SHOP AS MUCH AS I HAVE IT.MY DASH LIGHTS,JACKS,SLIDES,WATER LEAKS, & MUCH MORE HAS BEEN PROBLEM SINCE DAY 1.I BROUGHT TO SHOP TWICE IN LAST FEW MONTHS & SAT THERE A MONTH BEFORE THEY ORDERED PARTS I'VE SPOKE WITH AMERICAN COACH MANUFACTORY & DID'T GET ANY HELP FROM THEM NIETHIER BEFORE ANYONE PURCHASE A COACH THEY NEED TO HANG OUT AT DIXIE SERVICE DEPT FOR FEW MIN BEFORE MAKING A 20 YEAR MORTAGE & THEY MAY CHANGE THERE MIND. I HAVE BEEN VERY PATIENT WITH DIXIE BUT WHEN YOU GET LIED TO OVER & OVER AND PROMISES THAT NEVER HAPPEN ITS TIME TO MOVE ON AND DO BUSINESS WITH SOMEONE THAT MAY APPRECIATE MY BUISNESS.

I have 2002 eagle.... l know it's not a new coach and i know they will have an issue here and there... BUT when you have an issue you should be able to get a freaking part to fix the problem. Not be told sorry that part is no longer available. ....really....and the manufacturer of the part says sorry dont know what to tell you click!!!! Oh really hanging up on customers. Well if the great people driving fleetwoods really want to know how they will treat you in a time of need just call them and ask for a ecu for the dash a/c part numer.... lay0157*-001a.... i have spent alot of time in my dads esgle All over this great country and i always wanted one of my own... well people be careful of what you wish for... i have a beautiful 40 foot American eagle that is to hot to drive. So i guess it will be up for sale and I will take a hit on it. Hope all is well for all you other american coach owners and for those of you looking dont buy into the BS they spread cause i dont really think they care

Think Coach and customer service is good

Had several minor problems initially which the dealer took about 6 months to repair. The dealer didn't get 2 repaired correctly. Contacted decatur service got an appointment problems corrected. One dealer said would take 40 hrs to repair service center did job in 3 hrs. Staff and techs were great. AC customer service can't be any better. Usually get a person on phone if not will call u back before end of day. They r very knowledgeable of units.

At the Factory Again!! Just met with Customer Service manager..Brand New coach Diamond edition..Coach Bottoms Out Now have to go to Frieghtliner..can't fix it here..sit for Days waiting in line our second trip with NEW coach..getting re-dos on some things .. One is a Refrigerator they SHOW in their Brochures.. The other is the "FIX" you get when yours won't stay closed ( and it does not work ) and THIS !!is ALL they will offer..Just told they have NO solution FRAUD! knowing this they continued to sell them as shown!!?? I have to use a Longenburger basket to hold the Dishwasher closed..it was fixed?on last visit..Dirt. soot and FUMES coming in under slides..Shower cracked.ETC ETC.SOOOO Beautiful on the outside.and here we SIT waiting for some ATTENTION>>.We are NOT new to RV's almost 30 years..loved Fleetwood..old now and just went Full time..sad to have bought in to THIS!and to be told oh, well!!..we have so many with the same problem?? that is NO answer..and what does it say about American Coach a HIGH PRICED COACH!!As I told the CSR..you go buy a $50,000 car and they put duct tape on the doors to hold them closed and tell you OH well...tell me how you would feel?? same thing!!Don't think he got it OR wanted to.

I have to adjust my complaint. They have stepped up to the plate a and are going non stop trying to address all and any issues with our coach.

Have to give credit where it is due.. The staff that works On the coaches are top notch.

Hot inside coach while traveling, jacks will not go up, engine overheats

From day 1:

While traveling, the coach gets to roughly 90 degrees inside. The air blowing is cold but yet it is hot in the coach.

Has to be an air leak because there is also dirt swirling inside the coach. We were told by the salesman @ Alvarado TX (Tony) that there is nothing they could do. We would have to take it to the factory in Decatur. Keep in mind, brand new $500k coach and we have to take it from Oklahoma to Indiana.

So, we do that. On the way the engine overheats due to a belt breaking. A belt that should last over 100k miles. It's hot inside the coach, the jacks will not retract, and to top all of that off....2 slides slide out, 1 will not.

Then, the ones that are out will not slide back in. This has been an absolute train wreck. I feel that we were sold a lemon and MHSRV in Alvarado will do nothing. I have had numerous friends purchase new motorhomes and trade their motorhomes in on upgrades, never have I nor will I recommend Tony or anybody at MHSRV.

Their service after the sale is zero.

Nothing. They just flat our say "we can't help you, you will have to take it to Indiana"

That is not acceptable for how much money these things cost Do not purchase from MHSRV.

We just purchased a used 2016 American Coach Revolution. It only had 16,000 miles on it.

We’ve owned it four months now. So far, trim pieces falling off, slide out won’t extend, dash warped, wrong shower door installed at factory, dirt and dust leaking inside the rear of the Coach, very hot in rear of Coach, and now, blown head gasket from faulty coolant line design (from American coach). This coach goes in for repairs after every trip. And now, after $2000 in towing costs, we had to leave it at Cummins in Boise Idaho for head gasket replacement.

We used our tow vehicle to get back home to Nevada. American Coach looks really pretty on the surface.

But it’s a very expensive piece of garbage. So disappointed and angry.
